Stereogum are currently streaming new tracks from the Scottish 5-piece. Nothing Like you starts as it means to go on: like it is late for a bus and there is no time to spare. It continues at a rapid pace with little change in sound throughout.

The b-side, on the other hand, plods along at its own pace in the completely opposite direction. Tugging at the heartstrings seems to be the aim of the game on this track.

All bodes very well for the new album, The Winter of Mixed Drinks, is out at the start of March. If the live show a few weeks ago was anything to go by, the forthcoming release will more than match the quality of The Midnight Organ Fight.

Nothing Like You is out as a single on March 22nd. The previous single was the gripping Swim Until You Can’t See Land.

It is also streaming on the band’s Myspace where this is also available for viewing (Does anyone else think that Scott was made to sing this song?).
