Shit Robot is Marcus Lambkin, an Irishman who is best mates with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, thus making him the coolest Irishman ever.

The video was shot by Eoghan Kidney in New York and is a rave reworking of White Stripes’ ‘The Hardest Button To Button’. It features Nancy Whang showing us around the city before one of the best finishes to a video you are likely to see this year. Shit Robot is/are supporting LCD over the three-night residency of Tripod later this month, in what is sure to be an epic weekend.

‘Take Em Up’ is taken from Shit Robot’s debut album, From The Cradle To The Rave, out now. Below is the first video off the album, ‘Tuff Enough’, also a magnificent video, especially if you are a fan of stop-motion, which makes every video amazing. Fact.

And if that wasn’t enough, below is a track off the album, ‘Losing My Patience’, featuring Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip, who are also playing dates with LCD and Shit Robot in England. Sadly, that rave extravaganza will not be crossing the Irish sea.
