Trust Arcade Fire to make a hilarious video. Just another one to add to their arsenal of funny videos. Oh wait, no…

Arcade Fire covered the history of your life and town in their last video, ‘We Used To Wait‘, and now they have enlisted Spike Jones to provide the visuals for the second single off the album, ‘The Suburbs’. It made me feel like an 80-year-old remeniscing about my adolescense (I am 23), at least, up to a point. But then, the more you think about it, is it that much of a difference to Green Day’s ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends‘: ‘Ah, look how happy we are when we are young, and then oh no, crushing disappointment of growing up and the army destoying us’. Or something to that effect. But anyway, yes, ‘The Suburbs’ is a minor masterpiece, just don’t think about it that much.

Can you spot the split-second appearance by Win and Regine?
