You heard The Strokes are back, right? And now we have actual video proof that they still spend time together, despite the music press sniping about the recording sessions apart (Julian wasn’t there for a big portion of it). Is this evidenced in the video: the band are all playing together in one room, but Julian is in another room, wearing sunglasses and drinking from a goblet. They must hate each other! They probably don’t. And this song gets better and better every time you press play. You also have to love Nick’s guitar solo from the box halfway through ‘Under Cover Of Darkness’.

The Strokes also put the b-side to the single out on the internet yesterday. It comes out on World Record Store Day in April. Listen to ‘You’re So Right’ below. The album, Angles, is out in just over two weeks for us Irish folk.
