Welcome to the late 1980s/early 90s everybody. Bon Iver, everybody’s favourite cabin dweller-turned-rapper’s-delight was live on Jimmy Fallon’s show last night and rather than perform the stunning ‘Calgary’, which we heard last week, he played a two-song medley, beginning with Donny Hathaway song ‘A Song For You‘ before going onto ‘Calgary’s’ b-side, a cover of 1991 Bonnie Raitt’s ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’.

Bon Iver. The new Peter Gabriel Or Phil Collins. Whoever you prefer.
