I thought I had Milan Jay figured out when I first heard ‘We Believe‘. I thought he indulged in electronica and was going to give the likes of Gold Panda a run for his money. Then came ‘With The River Flow‘, which was chillwave with heavy guitars. And now, ‘Interconnected’, which could be mistaken for something off the new Beastie Boys album. It is nothing like the band has done before. And presumably, it will be nothing like Milan Jay will do again. It has samples, a huge drum beat and a cheesy Red Hot Chili Peppers bass sound. You can just imagine how much fun the band is going to have with it live. The single is released on Philosophor Records and is free to download when you pre-order the new EP To the Night and Sky for just €2 later today.
