Ah Tieranniesaur, a band who may well divide opinion. But the video for ‘Here Be Monsters’, taken from their self-titled debut album released on Popical Island, which gets launched in the Crawdaddy, Dublin, on July 28, shouldn’t divide opinion. It’s made by Bowsie Workshop, who are also responsible for the brilliant Big Monster Love’s ‘Free Gaff Forever’. ‘Here Be Monsters’ features a smiling monster getting chased by a 10-year-old female bounty hunter through a forest. And just as the song explodes, there is an epic fight scene. The launch gig will also see Ireland’s first Playbutton release: a custom Tieranniesaur badge which doubles as an mp3 player that plays the Tieranniesaur album only. Support is from Patrick Kelleher and the aforementioned No Monster Club.
