We Cut Corners hail from Dublin and have been around for ages, or so it seems. They played a number of dates around Ireland back in May with Windings and The Ambience Affair, the latter of whom is set to release an album over the coming months. We Cut Corners’ debut album is set to hit the shelves in the autumn and ‘Go Easy’ is our first taste of what to expect. It doesn’t take long to progress from a slow, plucking number into full-blown histrionics. Don’t know what a communist kiss is though. You can listen to ‘Go Easy’ via Bandcamp and you will be able to download the song on August 1, so put that in your diary. Expect to hear a lot more about We Cut Corners before the end of the year. You can catch the band playing Castlepalooza, Co Offaly, and IndiePendance, Co Cork, over the weekend.
