One of my favourite bands of the year, Jerome’s Law have an album coming out on Monday – and it’s going to be available for free, in keeping with their EP releases to date. To whet your appetite the band have made ‘Open Eyes’ available to stream ahead of the release. It’s one of a number of highlights from a stunning 11-track album. It’s a funky number, built around a too easy to catch chorus, which also opens proceedings. It grows in stature for more than two-and-a-half minutes before crashing back down to earth. You’ll enjoy it, put it that way. Listen to ‘Open Eyes’ below and come back Monday when we’ll have more on Not Today. Make a space on your favourite albums of 2011 lists for it.

Follow the band on Facebook for more updates too.
