The fantastic collaboration between Gorillaz, James Murphy (of LCD Soundsystem) and Andre 3000 got a pretty cool animated/real-life video. Created by Jamie Hewlett, we get to see what 10 years of success has done to Gorillaz: They still live in a dirgy flat, 212 Wobble Street, London; Murdoc uses a malfunctioning chairlift after a heavy night of drinking; and they can’t afford cleaners. Rock and roll. It’s obviously a sideways look at the lack of money in the music industry in 2012. Ha, only messing. It’s pretty fun, and yes, it does feature the Converse shoe ‘Do Ya Thing’ was written for.
