Two posts in two days for Ambience Affair. When it was announced they were to feature on Quompilation #2, I was hopeful they’d finally commit their cover of Washed Out’s ‘Feel It All Around’ to tape. But the rules are that only songs recorded in the preceding 12 months could feature on the album and it was Metronomy’s ‘The Look’ which the trio covered instead. Now though, Cock & Bull TV filmed Ambience Affair performing ‘Feel It All Around’ upstairs in Whelan’s. Needless to say, it’s wonderful, and should feature during Ambience Affair’s Irish tour, beginning in Limerick tonight. More here.
