Dublin artist Trophy Boyfriend has remixed Jedward in the past – and drops it during live shows, which must confuse the hipsters – but don’t let that put you off him. Known to his friends as Gregor Ruigrok, he now offers his take on The Cast Of Cheers’ ‘Family’. We’ve already heard excellent remixes of the track from Royal Scams and Jape, but Trophy Boyfriend’s take doesn’t get left behind. He slows things down, adds some fuzzy layers and makes you strain for remnants of the original music. It’s washed out and chilled, something The Cast Of Cheers don’t really do themselves.
