Annie Mac has been filling in for Zane Lowe on Radio 1 this week. She already played a new Miike Snow track and now she’s premiered the latest track by Niki & The Dove, a Swedish two-piece who make big, majestic pop songs. But instead of throwing everything at it a la Florence and the Machine, they know when to draw back. ‘Tomorrow’ is a perfect example of this: Malin (no, her name isn’t Niki) has a cavernous voice, but knows when to pull back; she even sings, “I kept on pulling back.”. It’s a slow beat, but with plenty going on over the top. Hopefully the duo announce an Irish festival date – ‘Tomorrow’ is made for a late-night summery memory. All together now, “I’m ready to learn what it takes to burn, I’m going to let you show me what it is to breath fire.”. ‘Tomorrow’ is going to feature on debut album Instinct, which is out May 17 in Ireland
