Probably the most joyous track on Waterford artist the Casanova Wave‘s debut album – a big deal when you consider the LP is called Joy Of Being. There are many hints to Sigur Ros throughout but whereas the Icelandic band might take you on a journey through emotions you don’t want to feel, Brian McCartan just wants you to know everything will be alright. (As a quick aside I saw Sigur Ros last week at Electric Picnic. I was gutted at how boring and disappointing and not into it the band were.) The ‘Play, For The Night Is Coming’ was directed by Dublin-based, Barcelona-born film-maker Hector Castells, an artist who has done visuals for plenty of Irish acts including Solar Bears, Katie Kim and Si Schroeder.
