As its almost namesake, ‘Wesley Slipes’ is as slick a track as you can imagine. It’s taken from the new single ‘Hank Bewlington’ by Belfast producer Kab Driver, who is releasing it on his label, Reset Industries, also responsible for Defcon’s In Binary Shrines. ‘Wesley Slipes’ is percussion heavy, with smooth stabs of piano inserted at every angle. It begins almost like Frank Ocean’s ‘Super Rich Kids’ before going in its own direction. Cut-up vocals are added near the end, where it sounds like he’s saying, “get the fucking root beer”. I may be wrong. You can buy the three-track ‘Hank Bewlington’ single from iTunes and you can listen to clips of each track after the jump.
