Bouts brought the curtain down on their album release tour in Mr Bradley’s in Cork city on Saturday night. They drew a really good crowd for the gig (DOI: it was a TPOE presented show), no mean feat considering they were up against Le Galaxie and Daithi in the Pavilion, which was also packed, I gather. I was watching from afar, but was suitably impressed by them the previous night at De Barra’s in Clonakilty. Bantum was on support duty in Bradley’s – it was my first time seeing Eimear on vocals; ‘Roll Part II’ sounded epic. Bantum returns to Cork later this month, bringing vocals, drums, visuals and, er, himself, down to the Pavilion for a free show on November 28. You’d be silly to miss it.
