2013 has been a good year for O Emperor, punctuated by second album Vitreous being released on their own label to widespread critical acclaim. Their live show has been revelatory as well, and the Waterford band showcased as such in their adopted city of Cork last night, Thursday, November 28. Cyprus Avenue was rammed for the five piece, who, despite Vitreous lasting less than 30 minutes, played for well over an hour. It was the first date of a brief Irish tour O Emperor are embarking on. The rest of the dates are:
Friday, November 29: Monroes (Hot Press Freezer Session), Galway;
Saturday, November 30: Workman’s Club, Dublin;
Thursday, December 5: Dolan’s Warehouse, Limerick;
Friday, December 20: The Forum, Waterford.
