You know Floating Joints, right, that debauched party which is held in the Pavilion every couple of months? Well to celebrate Valentine’s Day – well, the day before, Thursday, February 13, the FJ gang bringing down New Jackson and Meltybrains? for the event. I’ve been looking forward to seeing New Jackson for ages, while Meltybrains, currently on tour in the US, only garnered rave reviews when they played the Pavilion over Christmas. Frankie Grimes will also be DJing at FJ8, alongside the usual suspects. It’s free in downstairs and €5 for the venue upstairs, where New Jackson and Meltybrains? will be playing. It’s all part of the Pavilion’s Dirty Weekender over the Hallmark holiday. Details on what else is happening after the jump.
