Indiependence returns to Deer Park in Mitchelstown, Cork, on the August bank holiday weekend, August 1-3, with a pretty stellar lineup. Public Enemy are the big name that jumps out, while I can’t remember when Cork legends Sultans of Ping last played a gig. Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip are always great live while there’s plenty of big Irish hitters like Delorentos, Lisa O’Neill and We Cut Corners. There’s also some acts currently bubbling under (Fyfe and Chloe Howl) who should be much bigger by the end of the summer.
