What is The Point Of Everything? In a philosophical sense, I cannot tell you. I am sure you can take a few guesses (God? Fun? Friends?) but one thing we all need is music. This website is a music blog focused on indie and alternative music (predominantly) but strays into a myriad other genres. Every piece of music featured, whether it be by video, stream, or other, deserves to be listened to. There are plenty of other blogs that feature a lot of the same music that I do, so as long as you get to hear the music, that’s the important thing. The Point of Everything began in January 2010 out of a love of music and music websites such as Pitchfork and Nialler 9, and indeed, print publications such as Mojo and NME as well. I am 24, hold a master’s in journalism from the University of Limerick and an arts degree (in English and psychology) from University College Cork.
